Qudra Road 132/33kV Substation is a major electrical power substation located in Dubai, UAE. It is a project commissioned by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) for which tenders for its construction were issued in the past. The substation’s role is to handle high-voltage electricity, stepping it down from 132kV to 33kV for further distribution to meet the growing demand for power in the area.  

A 132/33kV substation like the one on Qudra Road performs the critical function of reducing high-voltage electricity from a main transmission line to a lower voltage suitable for a specific local area.
